Acceptance is guaranteed as long as you haven’t had cancer (except skin cancer) in the required cancer-free period. If you’re healthy today, don’t wait — cancer risk increases with age¹, and you may not qualify later.

The VFW Cancer Care Insurance Plan pays cash benefits REGARDLESS of any other insurance you have — medical, Medicare, or otherwise. Use the money for hospital co-pays, travel to treatment, prescriptions, or anything at all.
Yes! After being covered for 30 days, you can collect $30.00 for any outpatient cancer diagnostic test — positive or negative. You can collect this benefit every single year you remain enrolled.
No problem. There’s a 30-Day Free-Look Period. If you’re not completely satisfied after reviewing your certificate or policy, cancel for a full 100% refund of any premiums paid — as long as no claims have been filed.
Benefits can be used for anything — hospital bills, chemotherapy, radiation, operations, doctor visits, nursing care, prescription drugs, your mortgage, car payment, or any other expenses you choose. The cash is paid directly to you.
No. You cannot be singled out for cancellation, a benefit decrease, or a premium increase due to a change in your health or occupation. Your coverage stays in force as long as you pay premiums, remain a VFW Member in good standing, and the Master Policy remains in force.
